THE HORN By Your-Brother Kepha

PSALM 132:17There will I make "the horn" of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for my anointed.

LUKE 1
68Blessed be YHWH ELOHIM of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
69And hath raised up an "horn" of salvation for "us" in the house of his servant David;

I would like to deal with the precept of THE HORN. This HORN was prophesied in the Tanakh. The reason I am dealing with this is to keep our faith strong in The Father and Yahoshua. So we can truly understand the prophecies concerning him. Now of course we all know that Yahoshua Hamashiac said.........

LUKE 1:69
And he said to them, “These are the words that I spoke with you when I was with you, that everything that is written about me in THE LAW OF MOSES AND IN THE PROPHETS AND IN THE PSALMS MUST BE FULFILLED."...........

so we must go to those places were the HORN is being talked about. Since in Luke 1:69 it states that Yahoshua was a HORN of Salvation for ISRAEL in the HOUSE OF DAVID. So lets go back to when Israel didn't even have a king. A woman by the name of Hannah was barren (1 Samuel whole chapter). Read the chapter to understand. She eventually have a son and dedicated him to YAH. That child was Samuel.

1 Samuel 2
2:1 And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in , "mine horn is exalted in ": my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; >>>because I rejoice in thy salvation.

Our sister Hannah was praying and praising Yah, then she says "MINE HORN IS EXALTED IN ".

2:2 There is none set-apart as : for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our Elohim. 2:3 Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for is an El of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed. 2:4 The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength. 2:5 They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble. 2:6 killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.

The Father   kills and make alive, he bring down to the grave, and brings one up. This is exactly what happen to Yahoshua. All things are done by the will of The Father. Yahoshua died and was made alive. He went down to the grave and he was brought back up. All by The Fathers will.

2:7 maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.

This is a description of Yahoshua. He was poor but yet he will be Kings of Kings. He was made low, but he will be lifted up. Also he was brought down to the grave and was lifted up from it.

2:8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are 's, and he hath set the world upon them.

Once again Yahoshua was a poor man. He was raised out of the dust (grave). The begger in HEBREW means poor man or needy (strongs hebrew **34. ebyon). He was a poor man from the (dunghill) but yet will be among princes, and to make them inherit THE THRONE OF GLORY:

2:9 He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.

2:10 The adversaries of shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: >>>>shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and ***exalt the horn of his anointed.***

The Father will judge the ends of the earth, and give strength to his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed. First, Israel didn't have a king at this point. Second this is clearly a prophecy since she is talking about enemies and judgement upon them. So who is this KING that he will STRENGTHEN and who is this HORN OF HIS ANOINTED. Lets continue to search the scriptures and see.

Psalm 89:20I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him

:King David was called The Fathers Anointed. The Father swore to David........

Psalms 132
132:11 hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne. ........

so from the Fruit of David (his seed) will come someone to sit on his Throne. The Father swore and will not turn from it. This Horn will be exalted.........

Psalms 92
10But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

David is saying that his HORN will be exalted. He shall be anointed with fresh (new) oil through this HORN. Lets see what else we can see about this HORN.........

Psalms 89
20I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:
21With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him.
22The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.
23And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.
24>>>>BUT MY FAITHFULNESS (psalms 132:11) shall be with him: AND IN MY NAME SHALL HIS HORN BE EXALTED

So we see that the Father's faithfulness and Mercy will be with David. He will be faithful to his Oath that he swore. David's HORN will be EXALTED IN THE FATHER'S NAME.

Psalms 148
148:13 Let them praise the name of : for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.
148:14 >>>>He also exalteth the horn of his people,

The Father exalted THE HORN OF HIS PEOPLE, THE PRAISE OF ALL HIS SAINTS "EVEN" THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL. So ALL HIS SAINTS are ALL THE BELIEVERS IN ALL NATIONS. EVEN THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL. So this HORN is FOR ALL THE NATIONS, but it will come from DAVID'S HOUSE which is through Israel.

Psalms 132
132:17 There will I make the "horn" of David to bud: I have ordained a "lamp" for mine anointed.
132:18 His (horn) enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon "himself" (horn) shall his crown flourish.

In Zion (vs. 13) will the HORN bud. The Horn and the lamp are the same things. The Father has put the HORN for a lamp (light/king) for David. Light was used symbolic for a king..........2

Samuel 21:17But Abishai the son of Zeruiah succoured him, and smote the Philistine, and killed him. Then the men of David sware unto him, saying, Thou shalt go no more out with us to battle, that thou quench not the **light of Israel.**

2 Kings 8
8:17 Thirty and two years old was he when he began to reign; and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem.8:18 And he walked in the way of the >>kings of Israel
8:16 And in the fifth year of Joram the son of Ahab king of Israel, Jehoshaphat being then king of Judah, Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah began to reign.
8:19 Yet would not destroy Judah for >>>David his servant's sake>>alway a light)))

So this HORN is a KING from DAVID. He is Yahoshua Hamashiac the Salvation of Israel from the House of David. I pray that someone has gained a better understanding concerning Yahoshua being the Horn of David. I leave you with Shalom.............
