PAGAN ORIGIN OF JANUARY NEW YEAR CELEBRATION

BRIEF HISTORY CONCERNING PAGAN NEW YEARS.

All of the pagans are gearing up for this coming so-called new year. They are preparing to sit around watching the ball drop from New york, or getting their outfits ready so they can go out and celebrate the bringing in of the pagan new year. Many just go with the flow and have no idea when the actual new year really is, nor do they know what they are really celebrating.
Here is the history of (Jan 1): In 46 B.C.E. the Roman emperor Julius Caesar first established January 1 as New Year’s day. Janus was the Roman god of doors and gates, and had two faces, one looking forward and one back. Caesar felt that the month named after this god (“January”) would be the appropriate “door” to the year. the first January 1 New Year by ordering the violent routing of revolutionary Israelite forces in Galilee. Eyewitnesses say blood flowed in the streets. In later years, Roman pagans observed the New Year by engaging in  http://goo.gl/Lo4Wri drunken orgies—a ritual they believed constituted a personal re-enacting of the chaotic world that existed before the cosmos was ordered by the gods.
While today, we mark the occasion with parties and parades, in the past New Year's celebrations were elaborate harvest festivals, still honoring the same gods. Still today many of us continue on with our cherished the New Year's customs, symbols, and foods which still have their roots in pagan practices. In European culture, the New Year's celebrations evolved from the early Babylonian influences and the conflict between the Catholic Church and the deeply rooted pagan festivals of old. Over time, the merger of pagan practices with all the Christian holidays once again took place.
Originally New Year's Day was celebrated in the spring time. In the years around 2000 BC, the Babylonian New Year, the first recorded history of the celebration, began with the first New Moon (after the first day of Spring -Vernal Equinox). The time of blossoms marked the time of seasonal rebirth. This was also the biblical start for marking the New Year (Abib). However, the world changed and Rome came into power. The Greeks held celebrations to their God of wine and fertility, Dionysus. Consistent with other practices that related to harvests, the Greeks represented their God of fertility and rebirth of the Sun in January.
So much time has past and people have forgotten the ways of the Most High. They take the month that was to be his new year and they go around saying "APRIL FOOL" and they think its funny. Its wicked deception that keeps people from following after his appointed times. April is the beginning of the NEW YEAR according the scriptures. This is what he commanded those who choose to follow him. He has said, This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you (Exodus 12:2). This day came ye out, in the month of ABIB (Exodus 13:4). The month of Abib falls at the end of March or early April. Satan always has a counterfeit date to keep us distracted from the truth. He has successfully deceived the WHOLE WORLD.
WAKE UP, AND STOP PARTAKING IN BABYLON'S FOOLISHNESS AND LOOK AT THE THINGS THAT YOU CONTINUE TO UPHOLD. There is so much more that can be brought out concerning this day, however you need to go and study to show yourself approved. January 1st is in the dead of winter, THERE IS NOTHING NEW ABOUT THIS TIME OF YEAR. When you celebrate April Fool's day, you are the one who has been fooled as you mock the commandments of Yahuah. No matter what you call it, you are still partaking in sun worship and have sold yourself as a worshiper of Janus; the god of false beginnings.
COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE./ KT
