Volunteer on a farm in Israel

Yossi Zamir's farm located on a Moshav (residential and farming
cooperative), not too far from the cities of Nazareth (where Yeshua,
Jesus grew up) and Caesarea (where Cornelius received Salvation in
Acts 10) is looking for volunteers on his Goat Farm.

In 2013, Yossi began to raise goats. His farm has horses, three dogs,
chickens, turkeys, biblical turtle doves, about 20 various types of
large Parrots. Due to the all of the various wonderful exotic birds,
locals come to visit the farm.

Daily Volunteer Duties:

Walk with the Goats in the morning and late afternoon:

You will go on one-two hour long morning and late afternoon walks
with the goats so that they can feed in the open grasslands of Israel.
The dogs will be assisting you in the walks, herding the goats.
Milking of the goats – the milk is used to produce cheese.
Making the cheese
Additional responsibilities: feeding the other animals,
cleaning/maintaining the animals' living environments and well-being.
Helping to raise young birds, bottle feeding them, and training of parrots.


Yossi has a passion and love for animals he expects the volunteers to as well.

This volunteer position is Not for someone who wants to experience the
Footsteps of Jesus. It is a volunteer position for someone who has a
passion for working with animals in Israel.


Yossi (short name for Joseph in English), who was born in Israel needs
your help to grow his farm. In 2013 Yossi had less than 10 goats.
Today there are about 50 goats.

Volunteer housing will be provided. It is a very small one level
house with only two rooms and a kitchen. Therefore the volunteer
position is only available for female volunteers as males and females
cannot share the same residence.

Husbands and wives cannot apply as in the past "couples" have had more
interest in traveling around the Holy Land, than in the performing the
needed volunteer work on the farm.

If you are female, and in good physical condition for walking the
goats for feeding, milking the goats, and cleaning the animal living
areas, feel free to apply.

Yossi speaks broken English, though because he cannot type in English,
our ministry has offered to handle volunteer requests for him.
