How to check unknown callers' information using Facebook
Are you aware that 16 million out of facebook users are Nigerians?
Maybe this because of free facebook or cheap data subscriptions on certain mobile networks in Nigeria.
However, this article reveals how you can check that "Unknown Caller" or "Scammer" who you desire to know whose identity is, whether you have true caller or not or whether that caller or texter is on true-caller or not.
There's a trick i use and i will reveal to those that doesn't know how to use Facebook website for the purpose of looking up phone contact.
Do you have a phone number you may have deleted, lost or misplaced on your contact, or never had on your contact, who called or text you and you desire to know who is behind the identity and know the name and to see the face of the person behind the number?
Here are the steps:
1. Have a Facebook account or Register for one as a new user. at web.facebook.com or mobile.facebook.com
2. Log out of your facebook accoubnt using facebook mobile on your favourite browser e.g opera-mini.
3. Visit the mobile version of facebook: mobile.facebook.com or m.facebook.com or free.facebook.com
4. Click on the Forgotten Password? Link
5. Enter the phone number in the box and click on search
6. You will see a page that either displays a positive result showing the Facebook Name details attached to the phone number or you will get a message that says "Your search did not return any results. Please try again with other information."
walla!
There you have it!
Also note that some phone numbers are attached to a deactivated facebook account, this may not show picture or even name when such number is searched for.
Using the example above,
whevever you see a name and profile picture attached to a phone number.
1. login to your facebook account.
2. Click on the search button and enter the full name you got from Step 1 no. 6.
3. You will see the name and picture that matches the one you saw on in Step 1 no.6. Then, you can go ahead to check more information about the user.
