How to: How to access freebasics.com using google chrome

Hey guys

You must have been wondering how to access freebasics.com on PC,
right? well, i have always wanted to be able to use the freebasics.com
website which is free to access on Nigeria telecoms operators such as
Airtel NG and 9mobile (aka Etisalat)
0.freebasics.com is offered by facebook and it allows free browsing of
favourite websites such as bing, facebook, nairaland, wikipedia,
wikihow, bbc news and so many more websites for FREE.

basically, the freebasic.com website doesnt open on google chrome. It
recognizes that the user is using a PC and the google chrome is a PC
version, therefore it brings a static page that encourages the user to
open the website on a mobile phone.

the trick thus is to download a "User Agent Switcher" for google
chrome here ==>>>
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/user-agent-switcher-singl/igafjdcboeahmnojhkaplghloibnjkbg
then configure it to use an iPhone ID ((Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU
iPhone OS 4_3_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML,
like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8H7 Safari/6533.18.5 ))
with this, it recognizes your browser as an iPhone, that is, like you
are using an iPhone to browse the internet.

Even when this is activated, you'll see the display of your facebook
changes its look to that of an iPhone and you have messages telling
you to download facebook app for iPhone somewhere at the bottom of
your facebook mobile page.

This is the trick. enjoy it.

Shlum!
